Date: 20th April 2023, 9am (coffee and light breakfast served from 8:30am)
Venue: Old Library, Lloyd’s

Join us for a market briefing on Thursday 20th April when we look at what impact Blueprint Two London market reforms will have on insurance companies and brokers writing and placing insurance risks in the London subscription market and how those firms should be allocating resources now to enable them to effectively plan for change.

In an environment where no action is not an option, firms have a finite window to embrace the change and position themselves for future growth. This session will help firms understand the change that is being planned and what actions they need to take to be prepared. We are delighted to be joined by Chris Read, Chair of the Cross Association Committee on London Market Change, who will help firms understand the need for change and the benefits they can expect to see through embracing the opportunity.

The session will look at:

  • Why change is necessary and the benefits to market participants;
  • An overview of the five phases of change and timeline for implementation;
  • A more detailed look at phases 1 and 2 of the change programme and the actions firms should be taking to prepare for those;
  • The operational and technological implications of the change programme;
  • A functional assessment of the change programme, with specific reference to the impact on people and processes; and
  • Specific actions firms should be taking now to prepare their business for change.

Our panel of experts will share their own views on how and why firms should prepare for these changes. There will be an opportunity to put questions to the panel too.
