This year marks 20 years of the London Legal Support Trust 10km Legal Walk, bringing together the legal community to support free legal advice services on the frontline. As the cost of living rises, it is the vulnerable in society who are often in the greatest need of legal help – those with issues such as debt, benefits payments, housing issues, asylum claims or facing domestic violence.

ICSR will be supporting the walk for our 5th year and we’ve raised many thousands of pounds in that time through the generosity of our team, our talent pool and the wider insurance community. There are over 800 teams walking in 2024 and we are delighted to see an increasing number of names from the insurance sector amongst them this year.

Our team of walkers this year comprises volunteers from our full-time staff and our talent pool of consultants. Look out for us on the route as we will be wearing our ICSR t-shirts again.

Why Are ICSR Supporting the London Legal Support Trust?

Access to justice means that people should be able to equally access legal support, advice, and representation if they need, irrespective of their financial position. It is a principle that ICSR strongly supports. A lack of access to justice can cause real social issues.

Please join us in spirit and support the work that the London Legal Trust do to raise funds for the advice agencies it supports. You can donate to our efforts by sponsoring us via our sponsorship page. Every penny goes directly to the London Legal Trust. All costs for all of our walkers have been funded directly by ICSR as part of our own Corporate Social Responsibility policy.
