New Financial Crime Risk Management Framework for a global insurer, covering AML, sanctions, bribery, corruption and fraud with integrated controls, tools, and processes. - Screening System Overhaul:
Led the remediation of AML and sanctions screening platform, optimising data flows, adjusting rules, and implementing quality assurance to streamline alert management and improve detection accuracy. - Operational Transformation:
Established a new target operating model, scaling a UK insurer’s financial crime function from 7 to 23 FTEs, aligning processes with UK regulatory standards, and building a responsive governance structure.
